Before You Submit Your Offer

To strengthen your position, we recommend attaching the following documents where appropriate:

Agreement in Principle (AIP)

An Agreement in Principle shows the seller and estate agent that you have already spoken to a lender or mortgage adviser and have completed initial affordability checks.

Proof of Deposit

Providing evidence of your deposit funds can reassure the seller that you are financially prepared to proceed.

Identification

Some estate agents may request proof of identity as part of their compliance checks.
